Near Arrábida is the sleepy but prosperous agricultural village of Azeitão, Another grand building in town is the Távora Palace on the central República Square, not open to visitors, but with a visible Renaissance exterior. On the edge of town is the Fonseca Winery where visitors can sample some of Portugal's best red table wines and see its assembly-line production. Azeitão can be reached by bus from Setúbal.
